What your Kua number says about you
In common Vastu–numerology teaching (the Eight Mansions method), everyone belongs to an East group (Kua 1, 3, 4, 9) or a West group (Kua 2, 6, 7, 8). Your group decides which four directions support you.
NumberHealer works out the Kua with the rule from our own course notes: add the birth-year digits and reduce; men take 11 minus that number, women add 4. Kua 5 has no chart of its own, so men use Kua 2 and women Kua 8.
Career: face your wealth direction
The first lucky direction is traditionally the wealth or success direction. Sit so that you face it at your work desk, and face it during interviews or important calls where you can.
Business: shop and office entrance
For a shop or office, an entrance in the owner's wealth or health direction is preferred. If that is not possible, the owner's own desk can still face the wealth direction.
Study: the growth direction
The fourth lucky direction is read as personal growth and calm. Children and students can face it while studying; it also suits prayer and meditation.
Home: door, bed and kitchen
Main door: ideally in your wealth direction. Bed: head pointing to your health or relationship direction. Kitchen: the Eight Mansions method places the stove in a difficult sector, with the cook facing a lucky one.
Worked example: a man born in 1954 is Kua 1 (East group). His lucky directions are South-East (wealth), East (health), South (relationships) and North (growth); South-West is his most difficult.
Name and numbers
Directions work alongside your numbers. The free Vastu tool also checks your flat or house number against your Mulank, Bhagyank and name number, using NumberHealer's friendship chart.
Remedies when you cannot change the direction
Turn the bed or desk rather than the room; keep the entrance bright and clutter-free; use your Mulank's lucky colours at the door. Gemstones only after consultation. Pending NumberHealer review.
